Our recent team retreat in Malta was more than just an AGM; it was a deep dive into the soul of Change Innovators. Set against the historic backdrop of St. Paul’s Bay and Mdina, the team gathered from February 17th to 20th to align our internal compass for the years ahead.
Defining Our North Star
The sessions, prepared and led by Lee, Mike, Dawna, Yvonne and Roman centred on the “Future of CI” and our commitment to New World Leadership®. We moved beyond traditional business goals to refine our intentions of:
- Building trust through active listening and coaching.
- Embracing vulnerability and authentic change.
- Operating with mindful accountability and self-awareness.
- Supporting human well-being and growth with empathy.
- Guiding continuous learning and forward-looking vision.
Measuring What Matters
A significant portion of our “Working Days” were dedicated to a human-centric approach to KPIs. We discussed balancing our financial stability, against our core mission to ensure our work isn’t just “excellent,” but creates lasting, trust-based partnerships.
The Road to 2026
We emerged with a clear “Path Forward,” including several high-priority actions:
- Digital Evolution: A top-priority website overhaul and LinkedIn expansion.
- Program Innovation: Development of mini-interactive programs covering DISC, EQ, and Driving Forces and planning to launch our Self Accountability Assessment Tool kit set to help individual, teams and organisations to explore their own pathway to self-accountability.
- Community Growth: Planning for a major Leadership Event in the UK for Autumn 2026.
- Change Innovators is going places.
- This year we will be adding Australia to our sights, we have won a couple of contracts there now which is so exciting, as we can bring our messages and practice of compassionate leadership to this wonderful country and continent!
- We are exploring opportunities in India as well, as we look to partners and friends we have made in the past couple of years, who are in alignment with our work.
- Of course, we continue to work in Canada and the US, and it the UK and Europe with our wonderful clients who have helped us and continue to support us as much we love working with and supporting them.
Between sessions, we found time to connect as a team—exploring the Blue Lagoon, walking the silent streets of Mdina, and sharing a final celebratory dinner in the fishing village of Marsaxlokk. We left Malta not just with a plan, but with a renewed commitment to ignite harmonic transformation in everything we do.
