Becoming the Observer

If you want better performance from teammates, and what you have already tried is not working, you may benefit from a different approach. Remember, “if you want different results you have to try a different approach”.

Everything begins with becoming the observer of yourself and the world around you.  We cannot become intentional and deliberate in our thoughts, emotions, and actions if we are on autopilot simply reacting to people and life’s situations.    We cannot move forward in our leadership without becoming acutely aware of who we are, what is going on inside of us, and how it impacts both our internal and external world.

Becoming the Observer (BTO) can help individuals recognize the impact their thinking has on their engagement resulting in better discernment of how to use time and energy; balancing judgments, expectations and assumptions of others and themselves; reducing time spent on internal and external conflict.
