Awareness of depleting emotions is important before it exhausts us.
Cortisol penetrates soft muscle tissue, impacts the telemeres (end and stop of DNA) and then the cell doesn’t know how to multiply. So the cell dies. Prolonged exposure to stress leads to aging and other issues.
Exam situation, can’t regulate emotions, brain fizzles, we can read questions but not formulate answers. Freakout.
Anything the brain does regularly becomes a pathway and gets better at it. Also applies to stress. Gets better at creating stress. Rewiring takes time, focus and intention.
