Notes:

People who are very driven seek feedback and often because they lack self-regards.

Ask ‘how do you want feedback delivered?’

Science shows people do not like negative feedback.

For positive feedback, ask for examples what they think they did well and provide specific examples. And asking ‘are you/can I give you some feedback?’

As a receiver, know that you have a choice of if and how you want to receive and take on the feedback. Knowing that the giver is also only giving feedback from their perspective and the situation they are currently in.

Provide what you saw not what you think. ‘I saw this and this, what do you think happened in that moment?’
